Frequently Asked Questions
How many watts per liter do I need?
The general rule is 1-1.5W per liter for differences up to 10°C. For larger differences or cold environments, use 2W per liter.
Should I use one or two heaters?
For tanks over 200L, two heaters are recommended for redundancy. If one fails, the other maintains the temperature.
What is the ideal temperature for a reef tank?
Between 25-27°C is ideal for most corals and marine fish. Avoid variations greater than 1°C per day.
